There is a lovely picturesque spot, on the tip of the Laussac peninsula (500 m from the campsite entrance) where the banks are less steep, making them ideal for swimming, fishing and launching boats. The situation of La Source being part-way along the lake means that each end is accessible for a day out on the water and it is even possible by kayak to include the first few km of the Verdon Gorge at the north-east end.We don't use campsites often but this may just have converted us.
